The TC light® is an international set of rules for near-series touring cars below the professional level, which was specially developed for national championships. It is aimed at up-and-coming drivers and teams who are looking for a professional and fair platform with a budget of less than 100,000 euros. The vehicles are based on small cars with a maximum length of 4.10 m and an annual production of at least 2500 units. A uniform powertrain with 250-280 hp and uniform tires ensure equal opportunities and keep costs low.

The TC light® allows technical freedom in terms of bodywork, chassis and brakes, but remains controlled and cost-optimized thanks to uniform elements such as the engine control unit and the rear wing. The vehicles are limited to a race-ready cost ceiling of 60,000 euros and offer a wide variety of brands. The FIA has officially recognized the concept as “Touring Car Lite (TCL)”, which further promotes Europe-wide distribution and standardization.
